About MyRoadbook
MyRoadbook is a sole-proprietor business providing online Learners lessons and Drivers simulations at myroadbook.co.za. For course, payment or privacy help, email support@myroadbook.co.za. We are not VAT registered and do not charge VAT.
Learning with us
Our courses help you prepare for South African licence tests. We are an independent learning service; official tests and bookings are handled by licensing authorities.
Simulations do not replace an instructor, practical training or following current road rules. Finishing a course does not guarantee a test pass, licence, official qualification or certificate. Try the free lessons to check how the experience works on your device. You need a suitable browser and internet connection.
Choose your vehicle and package
Each purchase covers the vehicle and package on your order: Motorcycle, Light vehicle or Heavy vehicle, with Learners, Drivers or a same-vehicle combo. It does not unlock other vehicles.
Check the package, access details, currency and total before paying. Prices are in rand unless a labelled Sandbox test shows another currency. A once-off purchase is not a subscription. Any applicable provider fees or conversions must be shown before you authorise them.
Your purchase belongs to the account signed in at checkout. Access starts after payment is verified; a return page or email alone does not confirm payment. Live payments are not open on the current prelaunch site, and Sandbox payments use test funds.
Your course access
After verified payment, the first lesson opens. Pass each required lesson to unlock the next. Practice and Test progress separately; passed lessons stay available to replay. Changing language keeps the same progress. The first-module and lesson sequence is recorded with your purchase policy. This is completion-based unlocking, not a weekly release schedule. Your accepted access terms remain part of your purchase record.
Your order states the access duration. Lifetime access means no calendar-based expiry or recurring fee for that purchased course. We will communicate material service changes or course closure and respect any consumer remedies that apply.
Creating your account
When you create an account, you must expressly agree to these Terms and Conditions and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. Free experiences remain available without an account.
Sign-in lets us link your purchases to your account and save your learning progress. We use the email and account identifier needed for authentication, course access, progress, security and support. Google sign-in may also provide the basic profile you authorise. We do not sell personal information or use learning results for advertising.
The Privacy Policy explains what we keep, who processes it and how to request deletion. Terms acceptance is not consent to marketing, age verification or proof that a parent or guardian has provided any permission required by law.
Look after your account
- Keep sign-in details and verification codes private. Contact support if someone else may have used your account.
- Use the course for your own learning. Do not share or resell access, redistribute protected material without permission, or interfere with the website.
- We may restrict access where reasonably needed to address misuse or security issues. We will act fairly and preserve your legal rights.
Refunds and support
Our Refund Policy forms part of these terms. It offers a full refund within 14 days before the first paid module is passed, with no learning-material downloads. For a combo, BOTH the Learners and Drivers first modules must be passed before this voluntary offer ends. It explains completion rules and how to apply.
If access or payment is not working as it should, contact support. Mandatory cancellation and service-quality rights still apply where relevant. These terms do not exclude rights or liability that South African law does not allow us to exclude.
Your information and agreement
Our Privacy Policy explains account, learning, purchase, invoice and support information. Agreeing to these terms does not sign you up for marketing or unrelated data use.
We keep the terms and refund-policy version you accept, the checkbox wording, time, package and access details with your purchase record. Later edits do not silently replace that agreement.
Changes and concerns
The terms and refund policy accepted for your purchase apply to it, subject to mandatory law. Updated versions may apply to future purchases.
South African law applies without taking away other mandatory rights you may have. Email support@myroadbook.co.za so we can try to resolve a concern. You may still approach a competent court, regulator or another legally available dispute-resolution body.
