Our 14-day refund offer
We offer a full refund of what you paid when these conditions are met:
- You ask within 14 calendar days of successful payment.
- For a single Learners or Drivers course, you have not passed its first paid module. For a combo, you remain within this condition until BOTH the Learners and Drivers first modules are passed. Passing just one does not end the combo offer.
- You have not downloaded course learning materials.
What counts as the first module?
Learners starts with Module 1 (Read the signs). Drivers starts with the preparation module: D00 for Light vehicle, M00 for Motorcycle or T00 for Heavy vehicle. That Drivers module includes both the outside and inside vehicle checks. Passing only one check does not complete it.
A module is passed when all its required lessons meet the published course pass rules in either Practice or Test. Merely opening a lesson, submitting a failed test or replaying a lesson does not count as a new pass. Language changes share the same record. Free experience lessons do not count.
Downloading your invoice, payment receipt, policies or other account documents does not affect eligibility. The download condition covers learning materials only.
Think your completion record is wrong? Tell us. A missing or incomplete record alone is not proof that you passed a module.
Ask for a refund
- Email support@myroadbook.co.za with the subject Refund request.
- Include your order or invoice reference, purchase date, vehicle, package and purchase-account email. Do not send passwords or full card details.
- We review requests manually and explain the outcome. A reason is welcome, but is not required for an applicable statutory cancellation.
- Approved refunds go to the original payment method, without undue delay and within any legal deadline. Your payment provider may take additional time to show the refund.
If something has gone wrong
Cannot access the course, found a significant difference from its description, or been charged twice? Contact us so we can investigate. Defects and payment problems are considered separately from the 14-day offer, with remedies required by law.
The offer adds to your rights under South African law, including ECTA and the Consumer Protection Act where applicable. Its time, module-completion and download limits do not take away rights that cannot legally be excluded.
ECTA section 44 may give you a seven-day cooling-off right, depending on the transaction and any lawful exclusions. Accepting our terms is not a blanket waiver of those rights.
After your refund
A full refund ends the access provided by that purchase. Courses you bought separately remain yours. Any partial refund or statutory remedy is handled according to the circumstances.
The policy accepted for your order applies to it; later changes do not silently replace an earlier agreement. Sandbox payments are tests and do not involve real money. Refund requests currently go through support; there is no automatic refund button.
